8” x 10”  Sketch book or larger (preferably hard, but soft is okay too)
2 pocketed paper folder
pencils, erasers
Metal ruler
scissors
1” masking tape or inexpensive blue painters’ tape
10” x 14” or larger pad of watercolor paper OR 140# or heavy Bristol paper for paint sketches
empty plastic containers for water
cotton rags 
1 roll of wax paper from grocery store
large waterproof portfolio to transport work lately
Small bottle of gesso

PAINTS (and or water base gouache you may have used in SA 131 2D Design and Color Theory) including: 

1 lb. tube of Titanium White** Titanium White you will go through, so investing in a larger tube of it is best!

Smaller tubes of 
Cadmium Yellow Hue
Cadmium Red Medium
Alizarin Crimson
Phtahlo Blue
Ultramarine Blue
Cobalt Violet
Mars Black
Brilliant Green
Burnt Umber,  Naples Yellow & Yellow Ochre (optional) 
Burnt Sienna
Any colors you may have 

Package of canvas panels – minimum edge = 12”

Plastic palette knife
Assortment of Bristle Brushes – both ROUND + FLAT (suitable for oil/acrylic painting)\  #, 1,4,6,8,10, 12

4, wooden canvas stretcher bars > for stretching canvas > minimum edge of 14"
1 yard of unprimed canvas

Staple gun with staples is REALLY REALLY handy
